I’m looking at two current elements. Arena exploration and coin drops on enemy kills. Exploration, I love, but the coin drops - not so much. Mostly because it’s distracting when in combat.
I’m thinking that each room should have crates and barrels that contain coins, large sums of money, temp. upgrades, traps and 1ups. 1up tosses from the ammonaught will be removed.
I think this will give a reason to explore the arena more and since 1up’s will be harder to find and be limited purchase at the shops - it might add a little strategy to how you spend your money, and of course, coins won’t be a blind spot in combat.
