Yesterday I added a ton of new stuff to “Cornfields”. It now has a working death system, and smarter enemy A.I. I also spent a lot of the day recording voices and sound effects that were needed. Again, people who want to play the game early on PC, let me know. I still need people to test if a PC version works. Anyway, back to the game. Since I have most of the key features finished and the game is pretty much working, I’m trying to plan for a release date. I’m thinking somewhere in early September or late August, but with other personal duties and finding time, it might be falling more towards September. Once the game is closer to finishing, I will make a certain release date. Today I’m just going to work on different parts of the game after the intial and first level. Since the game is taking a little while to come out, I want to make sure I use that time to benefit the game. I want to make sure that it was worth the wait for you guys and not some stupid ripoff that takes about five minutes to complete. It might not have a huge story when it comes to a background, but I want the experience to be fun and unnerving. That is how I measure how good a horror game is. If it makes you want to stop playing, its good. Ok guys I’m actually going to get started on the new maps and stuff now so I’ll keep you guys posted. Thanks!!
