Hey there, everyone. Itās been a moment. Thank you all for the patience while I took a small breatherāand also, celebrated my birthday š (yup, May 14th!). Iām back now, and ready to share something big.
For the past few weeks, Iāve been outlining what I can confidently call the core identity of the Sunshine Daycare series. This isnāt just one gameāitās an evolving horror anthology, told through four unsettling, interconnected chapters.
Letās go ahead and break them down š
āļø 1. Sunshine Daycare: The Original Location
Status: To be developed last.
Engine: UE5 or Unity (TBD)
This is where it all started... but itās also where everything ends.
Set in the original Sunshine Daycare facility before the chaos, this game will be the final piece of the puzzle. Youāll take on the role of a new employee unaware of the facilityās cursed foundation. Expect rich lore, detailed AI behaviors, and the darkest secrets the franchise has to offer.
š³ļø 2. Nightmare Before the Consequences
Status: In early planning.
Setting: A moving cruise ship transporting animatronics.
Youāre not stuck in a static roomāyouāre drifting at sea.
You play as a nighttime guard on board a cruise liner meant to deliver animatronics from the wreckage of Sunshine Daycare to a containment facility. But something went wrong. No cameras. No map. Just sound and a flashlight. Your only clue? Footsteps. Groans. Whispers. Youāre blind in the dark oceanāgood luck staying afloat.
š 3. Five Days at Sunshine Daycare (FDaSD)
Status: In development.
Gameplay: Classic FNaF-style office survival, but during the daytime.
This flips the script. No more 12AM shifts. Youāre working in broad daylightābut that doesnāt mean youāre safe.
FDaSD follows you through five ānormalā workdays, with each day escalating in horror. Thereās no Jammer system like in later entries. Youāre defenseless except for wits and timing. It introduces a cast of characters like Sunny-Bun, Bella Blocks, Captain Tickle, Mr. Smile, and NapNap in their āoriginalā forms.
š„ 4. Sunshine Daycare: As Above, So Below (AASB)
Status: Mid-development planning.
Tone: Surreal, apocalyptic, final chapter vibe.
This is the aftermath.
You play as a lone survivor trapped in the ruins of Sunshine Daycare following a massive fire. The building is decaying, the systems are broken, and the animatronics? Mangled. Haunted. Glitched. This game features the advanced Jammer System, a terminal panel for Tasks, Systems, and Defense. Your enemies include:
Prototype Sunny-Bun
Worn-down Captain Tickle
Torn Bella Blocks
NapNap
Mr. Smiled
SADTRACKED AI
AASB is only 3 nights long, but every night grows increasingly brutal, with a story that ends the entire timeline in darknessāno good ending. Only survival. Barely.
