Preview #1 for the Dynamic environment (Collider)

EDIT 1: forgot to credit @NitroSplash for the awesome music

EDIT 2: removed the link to the video because it'll finally let me download it

Progress for Saturday, October 19, 2024 (technically Sunday since it's past midnight)

  • Worked on the Collider part of the Dynamic environment.

Further notes

  • If you've looked at Beat Saber's OST 7 (specifically the lightshow for The Master), you'll notice that this part of the environment was inspired by the OST 7 (Collider) environment, hence its name.

  • The Dynamic environment can switch to multiple scenes (or sub-environments, whatever you wanna call them), which is why it's called Dynamic. The Collider part of the environment, for example, is a scene.

  • This scene can run at 60fps, even at the highest quality! I just discovered this.

'Sbeen awhile since my last update for this game so here's a short overview of what I've been cooking as well as everything that's changed since my last post (read the article).

Next will be implementing the song select menu and leaderboards (maybe)!

time to do some reflections!

This is a quick li'l showcase, not a daily update. No code has been changed since my last post, I designed the (unfinished) reflections code a while ago.

It's a bit broken due to polygonal pen clipping not being a thing yet

Hello, classmates! I was finally able to work on the title screen for School Shenanigans. I also added a nice gamepad configuration screen!

What do you think of the layout? If elements could be made more simple or detailed, please let me know!
