Daily updates are back (for as long as they can be), baby!

Here is the gameplay environment (static). Y'all ain't ready for the dynamic environment, though!

  • Worked on the static environment and its color variants.

Further notes

The environment is in the shape of a dome. Its design was influenced by many factors, such as:

  • the fact that this game is in 3D (for the most part)

  • the original game's nature of being influenced b circles and triangles

  • some inspiration from Arcaea

Next up

time to do some reflections!

This is a quick li'l showcase, not a daily update. No code has been changed since my last post, I designed the (unfinished) reflections code a while ago.

It's a bit broken due to polygonal pen clipping not being a thing yet

I posted this three hours later than I should have

'Sbeen awhile since my last update for this game so here's a short overview of what I've been cooking as well as everything that's changed since my last post (read the article).

Next will be implementing the song select menu and leaderboards (maybe)!

- made with CapCut Desktop

- the red color at the end is used for chroma key

i purposely missed a mistake so i wouldnt get double xp and duolingo does this
