Progress on what i've been doing so far!

Visual Overhaul (again & for the last time)

I've done this once and i'm not doing it again after i'm done. I've essencially been remaking the buildings to be far more appealing, having a portuguese flair to it.

This way I can also make landmarks far more interesting and unique compared to the original version. Though I need to mention foremost that the buildings are only going to look like the mainland's architeture, so no Açores or Madeira, since it wouldn't really fit the game's aesthetic.

Cool Shops!

Another cool thing I made is a slight visual rehaul of how the shops work.

You get to actually see what the receptionist looks like! Ever since making Heavenly Martyr I felt like shops that did this added a lot to a game's charm and I couldn't let it go without it. There's also going to be a few different shopkeeps depending on the areas you visit too. I'm sure you've seen a few of them in my lastest updates.

---

Finally!

The game's got a fun little introductory system for when a battle starts, so you get to have some commentary on the creatures you're about to face.

Don't think you're always going to get the same message too! There's a few variations to keep things interesting.

There's far more stuff I'd love to share but I can't just let it all out in one post now can i? 🤪

I'll keep you updated next Saturday. Have a lovely weekend!
