Progress Report #2: Looking better


Hello Everyone

After solving the problem with the lighting(took way longer that expected), I start working in new models, some NPCs and other, solving some minor issues finnally got everything to work. Not a lot to show this time, but still worth it:

Added a Item shops and a Weapon shops to the game. Very straightfoward, but still important.

Again, the obvious next step, I made two simple models, so the player have something to interact with. Will not be using those in anything special just to fill the world so it’s doesn’t look empty and dead, and deliver information to the player through dialogue instead of floating text.

Nothing too big but it helps everything feels more lively.

The next update will be faces so it shouldn’t take long before next update, if the universe does not conspire against me.

Next up

Hello everyone!

Here is just a small showcase of the player character basic movement, for my next game. It's a mountaineering theme Metroidvania, wanted to make the movement slow and precise to fit the theme of mountain climbing.

A demo is finally available with all it's features: controller support, different games modes, various unlockable costumes, multiple collectibles types and most important, no bugs.

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
