Jono99 here. Things have been quiet for the last 6-7 months, so I’m just posting now to let people know 1. No, A Necromancers Tale hasn’t been canceled and 2. Yes the MV remake is still a thing. Things have taken a 180 since the last post. Back then, we were taking a break from developing the story to develop a remake of the game in RPG Maker MV but now we’re putting that on hold to develop story content for the VX Ace version. There will be new features added whether they be in the main game or just HOI concepts. So far, we have added the ability to pan the camera, a puzzle that reveals more story in the house with a blue roof in Solarun Village and lighting for maps (which plays into aforementioned puzzle). That doesn’t seem like much, but pokedyl and I have been very busy with things outside the game’s development. See you soon (hopefully) when the next update is released.
Next up
We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!
