Hello everyone!
After 2 months of active work, we are finally ready to show you what we’ve been working on.
A new design for the GameJolt page.

remendous amount of work has gone into the page design, for which a huge thank you goes to @_FoXSuS_ ,@shishuliabelae, @karamble !
Now you can fully appreciate the project’s style outside of the game.
Now, let’s move on to the game update.
A cutscene with Chara at the beginning of the game.
We’ve completely changed the concept of this scene, removed all the temporary elements that were present in the old version, and also thought through what comes next.
For now, we’re ready to show you only one animation of Chara and the background in the cutscene, but in the future, more content awaits you!

3D lighting.
Another graphics improvement — this time a very major one. We’ve developed a normal map system that calculates rays and processes lighting in real time, as well as blur. We wanted to add this a long time ago, but only now managed to implement it.

This system will be applied in almost all locations with strong lighting. Not only character sprites but also location sprites are processed. In the GIF, you can see a light rendering test on Frisk.
Tension.

Tension is a new mechanic that is now core to the game. Briefly about it:
In battle, there can be two versions of the button: with and without Flowey, depending on whether the flower is present in the battle.
The regular button provides boosts such as temporary speed-up/slow-down, attack or defense boost for one turn, and so on.
The button with Flowey provides boosts like a petal shield that blocks one attack, petal healing during the enemy’s turn, etc.
In the overworld, we can earn tension points during specific moments, which will greatly affect gameplay.
For example, Frisk can sneak up on monsters and suddenly attack, dealing damage and gaining an advantage in battle.
Conclusion.
Friends! We are glad that despite all the difficulties, you are still with us. We sincerely strive to make this project for you.
Your support means a lot to us and gives us the strength to keep moving forward.
Thank you so much for that. We will be happy to show you more content, so I hope that you, like our team, remain determined until the very end!
