Progress Update #3


Wow, it’s been a while again!

Once again, I’m sorry for the lack of communication, I’ve been my busiest yet, as of late. I’m a composer, singer, dancer, and actor, and I’ve been rehearsing for a show while performing in another, on top of doing composing and programming work on multiple games.

However..

I still have had time to do work on this game here and there, and it’s growing ever closer to release. At the point, I believe all the gameplay is functional, though not heavily tested. There are quirks I’d like to iron out, but my main concern right now is optimization and ensuring that the core gameplay is solid.

I had a devlog with a complete changelog all written out, but that got lost when I accidentally refreshed the page without saving the draft. Nice. And it’s been so long at this point, I genuinely don’t remember all the changes and additions I’ve made. But know that there are some good ones! Console commands and server moderation have been massively improved, for example.

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
