PROGRESS UPDATE: June 2026


Hello again! We have some new and some great things for the project!

So a special thanks for our new team members @TomatoUnderground and @tntaro for doing this!


New Mechanics! (Thanks to tntaro)

Tntaro had added some new mechanics for the mod and also some other additions for it.


RUNNING

By holding [X] you can sprint and walk more faster! (I still plan make Running Frisk sprites in the same esque of UTY.)


TEXT SKIP/WRIST PROTECTOR

By holding [C] in some dialogues, you can skip most of a dialogue messages (as in Deltarune.) (The gif might not show this but most of the dialogue lines are skipped by doing this)


Now some new little thing for Catacombs.

One of our team members, TomatoUnderground made battle sprites for some of the Catacombs Monsters. (Some of the sprites had some edits by myself) So thanks to Tomato!

Also, Tntaro helped made it to make the rock puzzles on Catacombs workable too! Of course is only this first one but we hope try finish of these puzzles.


But, I've also decided make some change of plans for Catacombs.

Catacombs will now be placed next to Old Home, after some discussions.

Here's the previous layout of the Ruins with the new areas.

Of course that we gonna need also makes soem changes there, but we still expect try finish the extended map of Old Home. So please be patient!

As of now, thats everything new we had.

Next up

I made it to put borders for the mod!

The main issue about this, is that sometimes the borders might not work sometimes.

So the screen keeps on the original size, instead the one with borders.

But it might can works sometimes.

i had been discussing with some team members about the layout of the underground, and we had so much discussions that i decided rework the map of the extended underground. here it is the uteu map v3 i might gonna make a sprite version of it anytime.

these are the current npcs i've made for catacombs (as of now) - Gravey (can be battled while on Catacombs.) - Grimclops (can be battled while on Catacombs.) - "Slime Widow" - "Emo Beagle Dog"

It sometimes sucks that I need simplify the coloring of some assets, to try fit with Undertale artstyle. (then vs. now)
