PyBackrooms Maze 2D game v0.2.0 RELEASED! Read the article to see the changelog for v0.1.0 and v0.2.0

Version 0.2.0 - November 13th, 2025

- Added Level 2 so now there is 2 mazes within this game.

- Did some changes to the Level 1 maze (Hopefully the last change to this maze unless new gameplay mechanics are added).

- Changed how the main menu works (Does not affect the extras section)

- Fixed a bug where the game would randomly flicker showing the maze when it is not supposed to. This problem was really bad for the Linux build.

- The linux build now includes an .sh file as another way to start up the game.

Version 0.1.0 - November 10th, 2025

- Added an extras menu to include bonus content in this open sourced game. Right now, there is not much extra content right now.

- Improved the menu UI to make it look better. Even the title text is yellow to fit the backrooms theme.

- Expanded the maze and made improvements to the maze to be more cleaner.

- Updated the README file on the repo for a better guide on troubleshooting and compiling the game for Windows and Linux builds.

- Introducing the Linux 64 bit build for linux distros that has GLIBC 2.31 or newer.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
