So I'm thinking of having gamemodes. Here's the [BIG IDEA!]

Easy Mode:

Space to heal anytime.

Normal Mode:

Nomral gamjplay.

-

-

Hard Mode:

Papyrus now has 6 ATK!

You have less items.

And you have 56 HP.

-

Expert Mode:

Papyrus now has 8 ATK!

You have even less items.

You have 40 HP.

And there are a few extra attacks.

-

-

NIGHTMARE MODE:

You have no items.

You only have 1 HP.

There are a few extra attacks.

And you have a flashing soul. (You can see your souls movement in every 2 seconds)

How does that sound? Is it a bit too much?
