So I’m playing around with the mechanics of the game. Instead of extra life pickup’s, there is a system in place that is like leveling up. You get a certain number of xp you get an extra life, but that number gets farther away with each lvl advanced.
But, positives need negatives. Use of (upcoming) special abilities will cost you a dramatic amount of XP.
