You know when I said I was going to take a break? It turns out I'm not. I'm finishing Bowser and making him actually feel like a good character. Surprising, no? Also I'm thinking of ideas for a hard mode. The enemy select screen music and maybe appearance will change to show the difficulty that will occur. Not convinced that it will be hard? Well let me tell you this. You know how there are so many goomba battles in this game? Well for the hard mode, they all oneshot you if you slip up once. Yep. For this next boss, I'm actually making something normal for once lmao (wip)
(WIP) I recoded Sonic's homing attack to have a much better flow and fun mechanic. After throwing a ring, you have to press Z to aim where Sonic goes. A correct aim will allow you to hit the enemy repeatedly with it
A new evolution is slowly approaching! A lot of systems are being redone and created behind the scenes i.e. ratings, sprite reimports for optimization, and a new damage output equation with proper defense and attack stats!
