A proper difficulty toggle (originally, you would have to lose a battle before being offered the option to activate easy mode)
The low - detail mode from DON'TUPSETHER (should make the game lighter on phones and slow devices)
Of course, the reset option is still available

PE Sketchbook #1:
This is the earliest concept art I found for PE's battle engine. It worked similarly to the original THSMC engine, besides the fact that battles had two enemies and that all battle participants were always in view.
