Let's recap 2025! It was a much busier year than last. We received several updates and even several releases!
This year, the GKProduction community's activity also increased exponentially and reached its peak. Join us!
New roadmap
At the beginning of the year, I unveiled my new roadmap, where you can track the progress of my projects. This roadmap is dedicated to my older projects, or more precisely, their finalization. This is especially true for MC World (formerly MC 2015 Deluxe), for which I'm long overdue for updates with new locations.

After completing the roadmap, I'll finally be able to move on to larger projects without looking back. Indeed, one of these projects will be FNwFroggy 3.
If you're interested in tracking progress, visit the roadmap from time to time!
🗺️ Roadmap
ℹ️ This year, I managed to complete 43% of the progress. Most of the work was on smaller projects; in 2026, I'll be working on larger projects like FNwFroggy and MC World.
Your opinion
Special surveys have been opened to collect your opinions on GKProduction games, the community, and moderation.

Surveys are still being collected, and you can still leave your opinions. Your feedback and suggestions are reviewed every six months.
📝 Community and Moderation Survey
Results of the month

The new column, in which I reported on the results of each month, continued for some time, but, unfortunately, it only lasted 8 months and was subsequently quietly closed due to low demand and new plans for how the digests would be released.
GKProduction Open Source License v1.0

A license has been created for my game source code, which I publish on GitHub and Steam Workshop. It describes all the terms of use, permissions, restrictions, and so on.
If you plan to work with any of my source code, please read the license.

Releasing games on Steam

This year, I managed to create Steam pages for two games that will be released relatively soon. I hope to release at least one of them in 2026.
A big thank you to Damir Aukenov for this opportunity.

Reworking two small FKoKFII games

I've done a great job refining and releasing updates for "Card Game with Cotty" and "Froggy Match-Three." Both games received visual enhancements, and the latter even received improved gameplay.
A short interview

This year I gave a short interview to Likki. You can read it here (but the text only on Russian):

"Anniversary" film

For GKProduction's tenth anniversary, I planned a short film telling the entire history of GKProduction and even my biography, but I lacked the enthusiasm for it this year, so it never went into production. However, the film is still on the cards.
One section of the film will be dedicated to your words and thanks, and I started collecting them this summer. The collection is still open, and you can still write down your words and send them to me using the special form.
ℹ️ I accept requests not only in Russian, but also in English!
GKProduction 10th Anniversary
This year, GKProduction turned 10 years old! Much has happened over the years, and this is quite a significant milestone.

Read the congratulatory post and be sure to watch the anniversary video at the links below!
Five Nights with Froggy — Alternate Edition
At the beginning of the year, my colleagues Vladimir and Rashid and I were discussing what we could do to celebrate GKProduction's tenth anniversary. We had a couple of unusual ideas, but then Rashid suddenly came up with something. That something turned out to be a special version of FNwFroggy. As Rashid said, what if it had been Vladimir and Rashid, rather than Gleb and Artyom, strolling past Froggy back in 2015?
For context: The original Five Nights with Froggy was born from a walk Artyom and I took past a creepy frog toy in the yard.
Thus, Rashid and Vladimir began working on the Alternative Edition of Five Nights with Froggy. Initially, the idea behind this game was to show what Five Nights with Froggy might have been like if its development had taken a different direction, but the project subsequently evolved into something more unique.
I didn't participate in the game's development or even supervise it, so as not to influence it and to preserve its uniqueness.

The game was released on GKProduction's 10th anniversary. If you've played the original Five Nights with Froggy games, give this one a try - you won't regret it.

Five Nights with Froggy — Classic Games

The main older versions of the FNwFroggy games are now available! All of them have been technically reworked and released along with the launcher. These versions were even released for Android, including the old FNwFroggy 3 and the canceled FNwFroggy 4.

Mystery Chamber Forever — Development history

I've taken a look back and compiled a comprehensive article detailing the development history of MC Forever. This article is packed with interesting content! You'll see many previously unseen features, including many new ones. Be sure to check it out if you're interested in MC games!

Kevin Run

You might have already played this game, but that's unlikely. It was released rather quietly. It's a small adventure runner. So what is this game called "Kevin Run," and where did it come from?
It's very simple: this game was made for Vladimir Nagorny's birthday. The game is based on the game world of Vladimir's own DrawRunner project (VNGames).
The idea to make "my own DrawRunner" didn't come out of nowhere. It has a little backstory.
Around the beginning of the year or a little earlier, Vladimir and I were in a voice chat room, and we started discussing DrawRunner.
The conversation turned to banter, and the result of that fascinating conversation was... this image.

You could say it's my humorous take on DrawRunner, and a description of what supposedly happens there. Excessively tall stickmen, city architecture, kind characters, flying cats, and so on and so forth. Every detail has its explanation, but I won't drag it out. Later, I tried to guess (or rather, remember) the name of the main character in DrawRunner. There were several different options, some humorous, some more serious. One of them was Kevin.
And then, months later, in September, I took that image as a basis and created a small game using everything in that very image.

The game turned out pretty well, and it was decided to release it to everyone, but quietly at first, as I wanted to polish it up. It was missing a couple of ideas that I didn't have time to implement before Vladimir's birthday.
And as usually happens with me, instead of implementing those few ideas, a bunch of ideas suddenly popped up for the game, and I even started working on implementing them. Halfway through the game, I started thinking about changing the game engine and even started porting it to a new engine, but work was put on hold because more important things came up.
I might return to the full version of the game in 2026, but I'm making no promises. We'll see how things go.
In the meantime, you can play around with the current version of the game.

🎃 The game later received a Halloween expansion, which is available in the main game at the same link.
Five Nights with Froggy 2 — Update 2.3.4

An update that improved the unfair "Randomized Night" mode.

Интервью FENTEZY с VNGames и RatNRat

FENTEZY conducted an interview with the people behind AltFNwFroggy, namely Vladimir Nagorny and Rashid Ibadov. You can watch it at the link below.

Froggy vs. Carolina — Update 2.9

The biggest update for Froggy vs. Carolina, work on which began back in October 2023, has been quite delayed. It could have easily been released in early 2024. The update was ready, functional, playable, and almost even released, but... first, the update evolved into version 3.0 with Adventure Mode, new modes, a wardrobe, and gacha, and then was abandoned due to the need to port the game to a different game engine.
It could have stayed that way, but I decided it was time to finally release what was ready in early 2024. And so, this year, work began on version 2.9 from 2024.
The update had been delayed for two whole years, and now it's finally available to everyone. I'd like to avoid making the same mistakes again, but we have another delayed update... but more on that later.

Update 2.9 for FvC brings more dynamics to the game, including a store, bonuses, new attacks for Carolina, and other little things. Be sure to give it a try—it's a world of difference compared to version 2.8.
Worming Over It
Another completely new game from me appeared this year. This game was made for Anton Doroshev's birthday (you may know him as Kry11119), and it's based on Anton's original Worm game.

The game is somewhat similar to the well-known game Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy. The game has awkward controls, a difficult level, no checkpoints, and an unforgiving nature. This game is not for everyone...
You can try it out at the link below. Good luck.
This is another game that received a lot of ideas during development and was delayed, just like Kevin Run.
Oh, by the way, Trash Games is coming back.
Community and Collaboration
At the very beginning of the year, the GKProduction player community began to gain momentum, and activity increased significantly. Over the course of the year, some legends and veterans even returned to the community, and many new people joined.

Join our community! It's a great place for communication and creativity.
And a few more facts.
I've finally handed over management of the community center to someone else, namely Vladimir Nagorny and Rashid Ibadov, because I can't handle everything myself.
This year, I finally started delegating some GKProduction-related tasks, although not entirely. This may provide a slight boost.
This year, my colleagues and I began holding conferences on various topics. Some of the most interesting topics discussed this year were:
The combat system in MC Forever
FNwFroggy 3 gameplay
Five Nights with Froggy v4.1
And now GKProduction is not about toy frogs, not about springs and spikes, not about knives and coins, now GKProduction is about friends we made along the way.
And a few words about FNwFroggy 3

Let me remind you, it's not yet time for this game. If you don't want to wait for FNwFroggy 3, just don't wait. I'll only start working on FNwFroggy 3 after the roadmap is completed (read about it above).
Here's the most exciting things that's happened this year! We've finally overcome the 2024 blues and are slowly starting to move forward. Step by step, we'll get to some amazing projects. Stay with GKProduction and keep following the news!
