I’ve been stuck with a laptop, shitty internet and a mild fever for almost a week now. I can’t really do any bug testing and I’d have waited till things were better before releasing, but then I realised: THE WORLD CANNOT GO FAST WITHOUT ME.

So I’m releasing v0.4 anyway.

GENERAL CHANGES AS I CAN’T REMEMBER DETAILS AND FORGOT TO WRITE THEM DOWN:

• MULTIPLAYER SUPPORT! YES! IT’S HERE! THE WONDERS OF THE INTERNET!

• A lobby to wait for your slow-ass friends in

• Character selection! Play as any ball you want! Even Big da Cat! (Don’t play as Big da Cat.)

• New, work in progress map: Snowy Mountain! Celebrate christmas by going fast on a very unsafe path along the side of a big mountain.

• New GUI look and pause menu

• Spectator mode! (we MLG ready now)

• Lots of changes to the volcano level, now renamed Fire Core as a reference to the amazing Sonic ‘06.

• Balls now have slight air control to avoid suicidal jumps

KNOWN BUGS!

• The game will get stuck if you join a server still counting down

• The AI is still stupid and has a supernatural ability to get stuck even on flat terrain

If anything major pops up I’ll try to fix it, but for now, Merry Christmas! Hope you have fun.
