As you guys know I do write novels too in Dutch, and I use OpenOffice for that. You you see in this screenshot is my office screen and a glimpse of my writing work in the Dutch language.

Now I'll be a nice guy and translate this snippet for you.

The name "Zorgenbloedt" you see half in the top line is just the surname of the character "Mariska Zorgenbloedt" a human woman who has a relationship with the Elfish woman "Cida Appeltaart". Aziëlla is the president in this story and Cida and Mariska are her guests while there is some uproar.

“At your service, your excellence,” said David and he ran away immediately.

“Us too?” Cida asked amazed. “Isn't this a secret meeting within the Aerian politics?”

“You two most of all,” Aziëlla snarled while she went towards the private parts of the palace. “You were there when our secret helper got us away in secret, so we could reach the palace safely."

At the room Aziëlla pointed to, was a bald man, who suddenly looked to them.

“Your excellence? Where did you go during the finals of the light fights? I must stand for your safety!”

“We'll explain later, Ferdy of the house of Grapjeshuis,"Aziëlla said. "Your wedding party went without any incidents, I hope?”

Without waiting for a reply, she entered the room.

Now I'll also have to explain the the bald man discussed here. That was a joke about the Dutch minister for justice and security Grapperhaus, who is now charged with upholding the strict rules which were set for the COVID-19 pandemic. Most of all the rule of keeping 1.5 meters distance. Only this minister did marry recently and none of the guests including he himself obeyed those rules themselves, and as a result the minister had to answer for a furious parliament. Aziëlla's remark about this wedding party was a reference to that incident. (I can also tell you she made many chapters earlier a remark, which I based on people stacking up toilet paper like crazy).

Oh yeah, before you're gonna ask. Yes, Cida and Mariska are both both women and they have a romantic relationship with each other, meaning they are gay, this because I am trying to make gays and straights equal to each other, a few gay couples mixed with the straight couples in the plot wouldn't hurt... At least, that's the philosophy behind it.
