The Three Things
Moving the Project to another ID
Why'd you do this, I hear you say. Well...it's kind of a stupid reason...but...u-uhhh...
Basically, when programming the X!Gaster dance easter egg, I wanted to use a broadcast message typed in Wingdings. Now hear comes the problem: when I wanted to change the broadcast to a new message (just the same Wingdings, minus an exclamation point/pencil), the former message wouldn't go — presumably because it was typed in Wingdings, but if that's the case, why'd the other (new) Wingdings message cooperate in leaving?
Now I thought I could deal with this situation easily, but to my dismay, the message wouldn't leave, no matter what.
Because I didn't want an unused broadcast in the game (because that might take up space or smth, idk), I decided to move the project to another Scratch ID — which was a fairly simple task...other than having to deal with the main menu music not fitting in my Scratch backpack.
The OG Scratch ID Build
I decided to release the original Scratch ID build of the game sometime yesterday/yesternight (I think ), and you can play it via clicking the image below, or clicking this colored text.
You can view it via clicking the subheading.
This animation test is for Cross!Chara's idle, and telekinesis animations, since there's a part of the fight (near the end) where Cross!Chara decides to use telekinesis to hold Ink!Sans in one place, that is until Ink reminds them about creativity and strategy.
That's the end of this devlog; I have to go work on this game at topspeed, posthaste! Anyways, until neXt time!
(Please give me suggestions on a different outro catchphrase... )
