Mario and Luigi: Superstar Simulator

Shadow Mario is now complete! That was the most work I've done in two days. Read the article for his full moveset details

Hammer/Fire remover - Shadow Mario chuckles and paints an M on the ground, disabling Mario's hammer and fire attack for a short time. If Mario tries to use them, he trips and runs back.

Slam - He turns into a big paint orb and floats in the air for a random amount of time before slamming the ground, causing two paint shockwaves to move from the sides of him.

Strollin' Stu spawner - Strollin' Stus of various sizes are made from the paint portal that continuously run around Mario. Stomping all of them rewards you with a star coin. If you wait long enough, Shadow Mario will throw paint balls at you. Jumping below them will cause a giant paint ball to form. If you do this two times or more, a trampoline is spawned instead of a star coin and Mario has the chance to hit the paint ball to counterattack. If the paint ball is its full size before every Stu is defeated, the move will abruptly end with the trampoline spawning (that was a mouthful).

Tornado brush - Shadow Mario will attempt to suck Mario into his paintbrush. Pressing Z a lot will make Mario run away. Pressing it enough will increase his speed. If he gets sucked in, Shadow Mario will throw him on the ground. I hope you enjoyed this preview.

Now that Shadow Mario is out of the way, I can work on someone else (After I take a break. That took a lot out of me and I have school).

Celebrate everyone's favorite plumber by completing our quests.

Finally fixed a pretty bad bug where if you hit a block too quickly, it would keep rotating. The fix is only applied to the solo block in this clip to demonstrate how broken the bug made things lol

it's a party

The first test for detailed palette swapping was successful (for the most part)!

I'm very excited to implement Pixel9Bit's resprite of his Donkey Kong spritesheet in the future! It was also good to wait to make Diddy Kong playable because he resprited him too!

The Final Stand.

This game includes a mechanic where you can collect wanted posters that appear in the overworld and fight harder versions of bosses for double the coins you would usually get from them! (Version of game shown in video not released yet)
