Sketchy Development (Weekly update)


Hello everybody!

So how are you guys? It has been some time since the last weekly update… 2 weeks to be exact! I went on a holiday for a week, and that’s why I couldn’t update you. However that doesn’t mean I didn’t do anything!

I sketched every single area I still had to think out. I got so many ideas! Once I got home I started working on the game itself immediatly! I fixed a lot of bugs, and started to recreate every idea I drew on paper, in the game. I added the options to change the HUD. There are 3 options now: Normal, Small, and Disappear. The disappear hud will remain invisible until you need it, (like when using a key, or using water, or even when your heart rate gets too high).
I also added some little touches like a rain animation on Marc. You can see both of these things in this picture:

I decided to add more content to the Safe. Because the version I had originally was kinda boring, repetitive and annoying. also really empty compared to the other areas. I got some new ideas for it, and I am adding them at the moment.
One of these ideas was Cartboard-Cutout-Carl (Cutout-Carl for short :P). I won’t say much about him, except for the fact that he will help you on your adventure trough the safe.

I added more content to more areas but I don’t want to spoil too much :P I’m working on the main mechanic of the Swamp at the moment, and also working on the Monster in the Sewers.

I guess that’s all I can tell this week without spoiling anything :P
I am putting my all in to the game now I have vacation, so expect more updates in the future!

I’m not making any promisises, and I really cant guarantee this. But I am aiming to complete the game before or around October.
I don’t know if I will make this, but I’ll try!
