Sneak peek at the new achievement and notification system!


Hey everyone, Carnage here, just wanted to give you guys a lil’ sneak peek at the new migrated and revamped achievement and notification system! The achievement system was previously manually coded using tons of sprites and text, and couldn’t stack (unlock multiple at once e.g.) whereas the new one is built in and can stack.

The new notification also looks much better and provides a minimalistic look to go with the new achievements!

I’m pretty proud of what I’ve done for both of them, so I’ve given a comparison of the old vs the new systems below!

I hope you guys like ‘em, as the new ones are here to stay! I personally prefer them, and it’s helped simplify and lessen the coding burden a lot. Expect more news on V2.6 soon!
