So, not too long ago, I watched SuperHorrorBro on YouTube on his explanation & story of JR's, and he had a really good theory of Paul Bear's origins. his theory was that paulbear... is Evan Afton. before you laugh, i have evidence of it further.

so, if you've never seen a playthrough or played it yourself, JR's takes place in the pizzeria before fnaf 2. you play as an anonymous paranormal investigator sent to the closed restaurant to get rid of the ghost (more on her later) haunting the animatronics. before your shift, you fall asleep, and wake up in your dream in a dark, grim place. you think you are dead, and feel a paranormal activity. you meet a white bear named Paul Bear. he tells you that you're not dead, but in the Barrens, a "limbo between life and death". he tells you that he needs you to finish some unfinished business he had in the real world. later, he says that for as long as he remembered, he was in the barrens with only the other spirits for company. that caught my attention. also, the fact that paulbear is short for pallbearer, a person who carries a casket.

still not convinced? well, who the ghost may be might change your mind. paulbear is scared of the ghost because she wants to erase him. i think she might be cassidy because of this. cassidy is known as the most vicious soul in the lore, and she wants afton to die in hell. that would explain her hate for evan, and why the ghost strangles paulbear.
