So... it's been a while...

Yeah I wanted to come back here to focus in more on my spriting skills and coding. Currently I'm the picture associated with armature in the dictionary.

Plan for the game: What I want to do with it is create a public alpha for it that has 2 or 3 characters and stages. Then with with fan feed back I'd make a closed beta before I finish everything up and release the full version. This would come with all the characters, modes, stages, and items.

The Problem: I have almost no experience with coding and at the most decent at making 64x64 sprites. Another problem is the art style. Here is the two videos ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=il4-KeGcJzQ&t=58s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=il4-KeGcJzQ&t=58s ) that I wanted to draw inspiration of off because I thought I'd be neat. The problem with that is that most people are nostalgic for SNES style sprites, and seeing this type of 8 bit with 16 bit style would make tons of people disappointment in it.

The Solution: Develop a democracy. I made a poll asking about if you wanted to be the style the aforementioned one (style a), or one like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUYb-BVova0&t=14s (style b)? Also if the first style wins then I'll re brand the game if it still doesn't sit well with me.

Also if you want to help develop anything than leave a comment about it.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
