Some of the first batch of props for the game. These will be textured using a few authoral Substance materials for quick iteration. We’ll be taking inspiration from the art of Josan Gonzalez (https://www.artstation.com/josan) mostly for our visual development/art direction. Using strong vibrant colors and lots of grungy dirt, as well as attempting to replicate the ligne-claire style use of line weights through both textures and shaders. For the modelling style, we’re using a low poly style with lots of small “floater” geometry to flesh out details and create “greebles”

Shotgun enemy done! That’s the last one for now, we’ll be trying to make a boss enemy but dunno if there’s gonna be enough time.
Ranged enemy variant done!
This Satuday we invite to watch another #speedpainting of our artist Daniel Faiad.
