Some work we did on a Sonic Xtreme-inspired 3D platformer prototype! Results are decent, but needs a bit more work. I'm glad I managed to make this aesthetic happen, though! #Sonic #prototype #newgame


I was always interested in doing a Sonic Xtreme-style game, but I never could figure out how to do the fish-eye aesthetic; it took me a long time of analyzing and studying to finally realize how to put it together... and the results are as you see above!

We're thinking of making a full and original game out of this that will aim to just be Sonic Xtreme (albeit with original stuff, of course)... but we have other things to consider too, so it may be a while before we put that into full production

Heya! I wanted to show some gameplay progress i made so far. I hope you like it ^^

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
