Sorta Important Poll: Popcorn Bytes

(And a small progress update)


Hey, all!

So I'm currently working my way back into development a bit, and I got to wondering about the first set of XL exclusive Bytes I had made. Are the Popcorn Bytes as viable as I'd hope they are?

Anyways, I've been tackling a few more bugs that I've been made aware of recently. Mostly stuff with the minigames, a bit with a certain optional sidequest with Pam, etc.

I'm also trying to get myself into the proper mindset to (maybe) start adding in the SL roster. Not gonna lie, I'm kind of worried about working in new models, new skills and at least one new status effect. There's basically a 100% guaranteed chance that I mess up somewhere and something breaks. And that's not even counting a new miniboss that has to get worked in as well!

Guess that at worst, there will be a decent patch available later this fall.

I might have more to say soon, but for now that's about all I got.

I might be having too much fun with this process...

Suppose it's rude to come back doing polls without showing some sort of progress for it.

Still deciding if it's worth committing to a full rebuild, but I at least figured out a better way to handle the party swapping mechanic.

Got a (mostly stable) demo ready for the occasion!

Still have to address a few tweaks to layering and test some other sidequests, but I think that we're back on track again.

I know it's completely unintentional, but I swear this is the universe trying to convince me to dig my old handiwork out of retirement and do something with him.

This whole "making a new battle frame" situation does give me an excuse to add some things I had been putting off for far too long.
