Speedy VS Hybrid Update Log (v1.5)


"Kitty is REALLY angry now! I gotta move! FAST!" -Speedy

"I'll FUCKING kill you!!!!" -Hybrid

Important Functions:

-Added the ability to skip the controls and dialogue (X Button)

-Added the ability for Speedy to run

-Added an "After-Image" to decipher when Speedy is running or not

-Removed unnecessary code from Speedy to help run the game faster

-Removed the ability to see Hybrid's "Knife Meter"

-Completely revamped Hybrid's Endurance and Hit Points

-Shortened Hybrid's Attack Range for more precise hits

-Increased Hybrid's Attack Speed

-Increased the amount of times Hybrid can be hit before he is able to counter-attack

-Added a short delay within Hybrid's counter-attack measure

Miscellaneous (Cosmetic) Updates:

-Changed the design of the dialogue text

-Changed the colors of the dialogue box to fit who's talking

-Added a sprite that tells who is talking within the dialogue

-Changed a bit of the beginning dialogue and added ending dialogue when Hybrid is beaten

-Boosted the audio of the Suspenseful Music

-Moved the positions of Hybrid and Speedy's Health Bars

-Added a Red "Hurt Aura" for when Speedy gets hit

-Added in-battle dialogue for Hybrid

-Changed the ending cutscene for when Hybrid is beaten

-Added more time between the Good Ending texts

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
