Squid PTv3 Released!

Squid Public Test Version 3 is complete and is out now!

Changes:

  • Added Nightmare Mode

    • Squid is faster, and gets even faster as time goes on. No clarinets here, just survive as long as possible.

  • Added Orb of Confusion

    • Getting closer to Squid will charge your Orb bar, if the bar fills completely you will be given the Orb of Confusion. If you place the Orb down and Squid gets close enough he will be stuck in his tracks and you will be temporarily invulnerable.

  • Updated GameJolt API

    • Nightmare Mode Scoreboard

    • Nightmare Mode Trophies

Bug fixes:

  • No bug fixes this patch.

If you find any bugs please let me know!

Sorry this update took so long! I wanted to be happy with how the orb of confusion functioned in the game before releasing it, but that took much longer than I expected. There are surely more changes to come later, specifically to the Orb, but I wanted to release something for you guys to try out. Enjoy!

GameJolt API coming soon!

GameJolt API is being integrated into Squid! This means there will be scoreboards and other cool new features! It's also worth noting that signing in will be completely optional, meaning offline play is still allowed if desired.
