Next up
some initial ideas i had from the beginning.
Other concept images I'd written down, I'll expand the game page later today to try and explain the concept as a whole more clearly.
So the ships get bigger as you progress (the player will be able to upgrade theirs too), here's a sneak peek at the larger ships in testing. I was also having a go at the side edge guns aiming rather than firing straight forward too.
I entered the gamemaker new year new jam this month, themed relax. There's a draw mode and a vs mode.
Draw mode lets you colour in on a triangular grid canvas.
Vs mode lets you complete 25 levels if you can isolate the ai to win.
Some footage of the last update I did before the free license expired for 0.2.0, still not a game flow yet but will post up that version once the first round of voting selection is done.

Runestones: from concept to in-game model🗿
Heya! I wanted to show some gameplay progress i made so far. I hope you like it ^^
In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.
In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
