I'm here to show you guys what I've made up to this point when it comes to some of the "outliers" of the game, that being the Startup Screen, the Startup Loading Screen, and of course, the Menu!
Startup Screen
Let's start with the startup screen since it's fairly easy to wrap your head around. This is the first frame you see no matter what, it's kind of a "menu" of sorts, and I added it in cause 1, loading right into a custom night (which is the menu) is kind of jarring to see at first, so this was another to settle in the player. And 2, it's kind of cool, it's something that seems so obvious to have in a FNaF fangame, but generally never seen something like it. (except for The Return to Freddy's 2: Rebuilt but that game doesn't count cause its shit)
Startup Loading Screen
So the loading screen is pretty barebones in how it looks, (and the startup too to a certain degree) but that's generally the idea of it. It's a quick 6-second "loading screen" that also gives out SUUUPER helpful tips such as,
You can press and hold the Esc key anytime during your gameplay to be sent back to the menu!
This game is best experienced with headphones for the best immersion!
YouTubers are best advised to turn on "Streaming Mode" to rid of possible Copyright songs that may effect monetization for your video(s)!
It's best to go to the settings and set it to your interests for the best experience!
You can press the Esc key in the menu to instantly quit the game!
They're pretty much filler for the player to read as you wait, but hey, what's a FNaF fangame without some useless ass hints and tips?
Menu
This is real meat I've been wanting to get too! The menu has changed exponentially! The last time you guys have ever seen the menu was from a (now deleted) post titled "Secret" and that menu was kind of a mockup, and was made before I eventually turned the game into what it is right now. But besides the actual design, what else has changed? For one, the difficulty will no longer the classic 0-20 difficulty scale, it will be the difficulty scale from the first Coso game. This however doesn't change much. Another new addition is the addition of the Custom Night exclusive characters! The characters have been planned out to be active on certain custom night... nights, and can be unlocked once you beat challenges! Almost like Oblitus Casa or Treasure Island 2020. Of course, I'm not revealing their designs yet, That's why I blurred them. Although you guys already know who's going to be the exclusive custom night characters, that being MagicTime Coso, SpringCoso, Classic Coso, Classic Old Coso, and Metalified, their designs are what I want to keep secret from Game Jolt! However, I'll be showcasing their designs on @MidaGames 's Discord server in the near future! So consider their designs for vips only for those on the server! While on the topic of the custom night, there are two modes and around 13 challenges in total! The first mode is Story Mode! Story mode contains 5 challenges, which are just the main five nights you see on any other FNaF game. The second mode is the Custom Night, which holds 8 challenges! Those being uncanon and departed from the actual story itself. These challenges include,
Overtime
Nosey Neighbors
Night of the Living Coso
Double Trouble
Unhinged
Eye Witness
Everything Everywhere All at Once (great movie btw)
Metalworks Mayhem
That's all I'll give, (since I feel like I show WAY to much in these) this is what I got so far, hope you guys like it, and be sure to stay tuned for the next update!
