State of Elite in September

Hello

It's been 1 day of hard work and I am happy to say that Elite supports real shadows!

Currently I am firing ray and when it collides it moves to first position and change direction by shadow smoothens.

They are baked so that means that in map.txt you are going to find brightness level of every object the scene.

Map.txt's format is like this

x

z

costume(new)

brightness(new)

All lights are calculated in editor and exported to Elite's build.

-----------------------------

You load map by exporting file from editor and importing it into map list in the elites build.

There will be option for distance lights

In terms of using lights you can flat/non-lightened level

So I am going to include white blob textures for making volumetric lighting.

---------------------

Elite supports about a 5000 clones

"Octagon Physics Engine"

Just revealing this for my physics engine, I made this in 3 days. It is going great so far, it is far more optimized than coding complicated stuff in engine, because it is being done without one block, not 2 not 10, just one block.
