This will be my final devlog on the game before going to Japan for three weeks, where I won't be able to continue working on the game. After that, I'll continue developing the game and posting devlogs!
Devlog #3! What do I have in store?
Firstly, I've added challenges and level soundtracks for when you're playing the custom level. Every challenge will award you a trophy for completing.
I have also added a couple more characters since the last devlog, including Stuffed Freddy, Sparky, and Fan.
So, here's a rundown of the 5 characters that I haven't yet talked about!
GOLDEN FREDDY
Golden Freddy's mechanic is pretty much the exact same as it is in FNaF: Appears when flipping the monitor and disappears when flipping it again. Very simple, very classic.
MR. CUPCAKE
Mr. Cupcake is one of the two characters that can appear on your desk. Mr. Cupcake will occasionally activate and can be repelled by being clicked.
STUFFED FREDDY
Stuffed Freddy begins in parts & service, then moves to the supply closet. He then walks down the left hall to your office. Close the door to stop him.
SPARKY
Sparky the dog will lie in front of pirate's cove, deactivated. He will wake up and make a bar appear on the screen. To repel him, watch him on the camera until he gives up, and before his timer runs out!
FAN
The desk fan will activate and drain your power over time. Click it to turn it off.
I made a poll not too long ago https://gamejolt.com/p/who-do-i-add-to-the-game-i-need-y-all-to-give-me-any-character-som-raenvctb that was asking for characters that I could add. Thanks to @xxxSLMxxx for commenting that I should add the desk fan as a character! A bit strange but this game will probably have quite a few obscure characters in it.
One last thing for this devlog, since this game is 2D and the cameras are, well, a little less 2D in some places, some characters may look weird in certain places. I'm specifically talking about Stuffed Freddy in the supply closet in this case, where he looks like this:
