Welcome back everyone to another review with QnA! This time around, I'll be trying FNaF World: Second Chance by @Eliass_ ! For now, this game is only a Demo that stops up until before the glitched object in Lilygear Lake. You can see the characters available so far.
One note for whoever might play: no, Lolbit is not obtainable as of now. The dev let me equip it to try it out in battle, but otherwise it's unobtainable up until all Lolbit Byte Stores become accessible.
With that out of the way, let us begin!

The experience with the game

The first thing you might notice is... chaos. In a good way. The first two rows, which alongside the shopkeepers are the only ones available, have been completely rearranged. Now your starters are the classic gang and... Crying Child, the Endos and Golden Freddy?
Actually, if you look even more closely, all the moves have been changed too. Now Freddy is a Jumpscarer/Healer, Chica is the Birthday user, the Endos have been nerfed to a great degree and so forth. A good starter Team 1 here would be Crying Child (because Party Favors is actually OP now), Chica, Endo-01 and Golden Freddy/Freddy. Your first character battle might be incredibly hard, but once you get Mangle you get an Unscrew user so things should start becoming simpler from there.
Ok, so now you got your very nice team lined up and you get the first Fredbear dialogue which is... very serious? Technically I'm script writer of this game, but you're not supposed to see that. Yet. The script will be updated in a future release to be more in tone with the rest of the game, even because that part of script is just a leftover piece of something else .
The map is mostly intact, but some things will be ever so slightly different as to make you question your sanity. You can find Counter: Bite now by [REDACTED]
, or you can get Find: Characters with the Halloween Backstage shortcut, which is now blocked. The meta changed to the point where things are confusing but not confusing enough to catch you completely off guard. It's like playing a new game of a franchise you know and love: you need just a few minutes to work with your surroundings and you're good to go.
The game certainly is more difficult in the starting sections, but of course this is FNaF World so what kind of a game would it be without being able to get Update 2 moves early on? The shop keepers all have at least one Update 2 move: I do suggest getting DeeDee, as she has Balloons 2! That move makes a lot of the battles a breeze: just speedrun your way to Lilygear Lake and try to get the pearl five times in a row!
While the game is absolutely fun... let's also be honest here for a second. The shopkeepers are way too much OP for what they should be. No, actually, DeeDee is way too OP for what she should be (I'm sure though @FnafTheVendorTrio will appreciate that
).
This actually opens up to more questions. Actually, there are some weird anomalies in the game:
When using Mystery Box and accessing new characters that are still not in the Demo, their movesets are... random. No, literally, they're random. I don't think Bite 2, Pizza Wheel 2 and Happy Jam 2 is a good moveset to Springtrap. Now, I understand if, since this is a Demo, the movesets are a work in progress. But if that was the case, why not just block the characters for now by limiting Mystery Box? It looks a little weird
JJ actually has a bug that the correct moves, meaning the ones shown in Party Creation, are not her battle moves. She does have Rainy Day 2 in battle, but being a second row character that's not supposed to happen yet
Halloween Backstage is a new area now! Amazing! Too bad it's accessible for now and the enemies are Blacktomb Yard ones. I mean, the area is nice, but I'm not sure if this opinion is conditioned or not by the fact that I know something else should be there
DeeDee. Let's talk about her. Why rebalance a game, when you can get Update 2 moves in an even more streamlined fashion? DeeDee is super easy to get. Grind a little for 10 minutes or less if you're good with the Pearl game and voilĂ , Balloons 2. This actually makes me question why I trembled as much as I did in trying to get characters and collecting chips when, with a little patience and an extra healer (think of Toy Chica's Cupcakes or Toy Bonnie's Happy Jam for now) I could've defeated Bouncer with a team like Golden Freddy, Chica, Toy Chica and Endo-02. Plus, having Counter Bite early on means most damage will come from that. Actually, no, let's talk about Counter: Bite too. I noticed it without hints immediately. I didn't even know/remember something was gonna be there. I just went for it. If you don't just run past stuff, you'll see something off too and explore it. So, to put it simply, grab and equip Counter: Bite while running towards Bouncer, create Team 1 with Chica, Golden Freddy, Endo-01 and CC for healing and damage. Bulldoze Bouncer and get to Area 4 as fast as possible to snatch DeeDee. In 20 or less minutes, you got yourself an Update 2 move. This is nuts. You can beat almost anything now with enough patience. This shouldn't be possible and makes the rebalancing act a little meaningless in hindsight. That is, of course, if you know DeeDee is cracked. If you don't, then it has a meaning, but I mean that's just like FNaF World at this point isn't it? If you know the Glitch Area then it's meaningless, otherwise it's meaningful
I'm not throwing numbers when I say I took less than 20 minutes to get DeeDee. I literally did what I said. I started the clock from a fresh game and stopped it when I saw DeeDee in Party, which happens after you get the fifth pearl and interact again with DeeDee, similar to Overturned. I took approximately 17 minutes to get DeeDee and I had two bad Pearl configurations too
So, in conclusion... the game is going in Recommended, but not Highly Recommended. Hopefully with the next release everything will be fixed and silky smooth. And now, let's talk to the dev!

QnA with the dev
Me: Welcome to Mr. Hippo's Bench, Elias!
Eliass_: HII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Me: So... before we begin with the big questions, a bit of a summary for the newcomers. What's FNaF World: Second Chance?
Eliass_: FNaF World: Second Chance is my dream project! With new movesets, a whole new roster, 1 new attack! Also 3 new characters! There will be more in the future!
Me: 1 new attack? That seems plentiful! So... Elias...
Me: Why did you want to create this game in particular? Anything in particular that inspired you to develop it?
Eliass_: Yes! I got inspired by @Fraeya 's FNaF World project, called FNaF World Retold! Check it out when it's out
! Anyways... Why did I want to create this game? Well... I actually wanted to make something like that since Update 3 ReScripted's first gamepage release! (But I didn't start making it until now!) I also kind of got a little inspiration from FNaF World Redacted! You should check that out too!
Me: That's amazing to hear!
Me: So... what's in store for the future? Surely there will be more than just 3 new characters and 1 new attack!
Eliass_: There will be 5 more playable characters! Which will be 5 characters from SL! Also 2 new attacks ... Keep in mind that the new characters will help in both Update 1 story and Update 2 story! It's not like an Update 3! I might also add a new boss if I can...
Me: That sounds really exciting, Elias!
Me: One final question: any teasers for the fans for any other future project you might be developing?
Eliass_: Sure! I would like the show one teaser!

Me: WOW! That's a really nice animation for Bonnet! I do wonder in which game it will be used for...
Me: Thanks for coming to my bench! Have a wonderful day, Elias!
Eliass_: You too!
