(This is an update to the following article: https://gamejolt.com/p/subjective-list-fnaf-world-fan-game-recommendations-my-personal-ssyj59zj)
Why am I relooking at this game again? Well, I don't like to leave games in a middle section unless there's something that really doesn't let me decide. For example, games which are basically just the OG FNaF World are in this section, or games that are good but have wanky controls which will be fixed are left in this section.
I don't really have a reason to leave FNaF World: Corrupted Chaos by @Weirado here, though. So I decided to delve into it once more and to give a definitive opinion on this, whether I recommend the game or I don't. I tried it out, got further than last time and I've decided.
This game...
Is getting demoted to "Not recommended".

Why it's in Not Recommended
I wanna be clearer than last time on this. No half words. I'll probably also be repeating myself in some points. This is also a Demo, things might change. For now, though, this is what is released. Here are my biggest issues with the game:
let's start off with the Difficulty. This time around, I played mostly Hard Mode. However, above Hard Mode there is also Impossible and Very Hard. Impossible is exactly that. You can't beat any enemy, you can't stall long enough to beat any enemy, you have no Unscrews, you can't kill either. In the OG FNaF World, if a situation like this arose, you would just head to Dusting Fields with a bit of trial and error and grab the reapers. Problem solved. But here there is a mandatory Auto Chipper boss fight, which you can't kill. You can't collect new characters because they're not statically locked at a certain difficulty. They actually get harder the higher the difficulty, so you are, effectively, stuck. There is nothing you can do to progress in Impossible Mode except buying bytes but you don't have nearly enough HP to see the bytes taking effect. If there is a way to beat it, then please let me know, because I am incredibly curious to know if someone ever got through the first Auto Chipper on Impossible Mode, even if that meant hours of grinding
Very Hard has another issue. Killing is brutally hard. It's a really punishing grind to get to a level and with the characters prepped up to the point where Auto Chipper can be defeated. It's not fun. It's just grindy
POST-THOUGHTS: Another possible cycle came to mind that would need to last for I don't even know how long. Jumpscare - Heal - Jumpscare - Attack. It works only for enemies and it takes so long to defeat them. It's the only cycle I can think of which might work. If this solves Impossible mode, then lemme tell you that this is so boring. It's also prone to attacks, because if the Jumpscares don't cover all the turn every turn then you will die eventually. This is really boring. There is also the problem that special moves cannot be stopped with Jumpscare, so to be frank this might also not work
there aren't two teams available. There is only one. One team, one tactic. Not being able to use two teams sucks (at the Start of the OG game, I like to keep team compositions as is, so the FNAF1 gang on team one and the toys on Team 2. Team 1 is the loop of B-Day, Jumpscare, damage/heal and Cupcakes, while Team 2 is the Prize Ball Hot Cheese team with a hybrid B-Day/healing user). Having two teams allows you to strategize better and to have better chances at surviving and defeating harder enemies. This is not presented in the game. You only have one. Everything becomes really hard as you're stuck with one strategy: the Team 1 strategy, whatever that may be
the map and camera while in the Overworld are very narrow. I'm sorry, did I say map? I couldn't find a map. There is no map I know of. If I missed it, again, please let me know. Map or no map, anyways, the camera is far too closed in. It feels cramped. The opposite can be said during Fredbear dialogues/Shopkeepers/Battles. It's too wide. It feels like there is a lot of empty space all around the characters
the battles are pretty close to the OG, to the point where the Team 1 loop is perfectly possible here too. However, enemy moves have been buffed to the point where, for instance, Toxic Bite is destructive on anything higher than Hard Mode. This is part of the reason behind why Very Hard is so stupidly grindy. It also requires to select enemy teams with very few enemies, with only specific Special moves and hope you can actually kill them
So my main problems revolve around the gameplay loop. You either go into Normal or Hard or get wrecked. I went with Hard for this play through. The battles are so long and arduous that it's simply not fun, even on this level. I keep using the same moves on a cycle with very few deviations, otherwise I will die. This feels and plays worse than the OG. That's why it's in Not Recommended.
There are things I don't mind or like. The style... I don't mind. I don't love it, I don't hate it. It's very colorful and is very much alive, which is what's needed for a FNaF World style game. DeeDee's mini game has a plunger which goes too slow, but it's otherwise fine. The new bytes look cool. This, however, is not enough for me to actively recommend this to you. So it's getting demoted, I'm sorry.
