Gooooooooood evening Art Fight, and welcome back to July!
I'm happy to report that I made my uni deadlines and survived the semester. All that's left to do is wait for my grades (and to see if I graduate), which means I've had plenty of time to sit down and work on the VN again.
The more relevant news is that the demo is at a state where I feel comfortable sending it off to playtesters and proofreaders. ...Regrettably, that's not the same as it being done. There's a saying in gamedev that the last 10% takes 90% of the time, and boy howdy am I learning that visual novels are not exempt from that rule. Even tiny demo games like this one.
Thankfully, my testers' feedback speeds things up.
Also sometimes it's just really funny to read.
Still doing my best to get this thing out before the fight starts, but an early-July release is currently looking more likely.
Since most of what I've been working on lately is scriptwriting and bug fixes, I don't have any new visuals to show of. So for the moment I leave you with this thing I drew in 2016
See you next month!
