Superguy and Megaboy is a 2.5D free-roam shooter/beat-em-up I started developing in 2020. Three years later... I still don't have a playable demo ready! Huzzah! In the meantime, here's a brief look at some gameplay.
Yes, I still have a lot of work to do.
Next up
Minor update! Targeting reticle is now bigger and more obvious. Yay for overdue fixes!
Also, the classic 2008 version of the game is now available to download! Do yourself a favor... don't play it. Seriously. The DX version is better.
UFOs! Transforming robots! Space bugs! Explosions! What more could you ask for?
That was a rhetorical question. Don't ask for more. The game is done. Now go play it plz kthxbye!
Currently working on improved visuals for the next demo:
-Character sprites are being cleaned up and drawn at a higher resolution.
-Most 3D models will have black outlines and cast shadows on the ground, adding to the "comic book" aesthetic.
Revert is a short time-travel game made for the gm48 Game Jam. My friends Jackaroo and Quentin did all the coding/design work, while I only made the graphics and music. Play the new and improved Post-Jam version here!
Okay, technically I haven't been developing Superguy and Megaboy for 4 straight years. Realistically, I've put about 2000 hours into the game so far. I still have a LOT to do, but I'm happy to finally announce the first demo will release in three weeks!
Quantum precognition is one of the most powerful cards. End game cards & equipment. Demo/alpha build boss is no match for this deck.
Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
