SURPRISE! || The pre-release next week & Kickstarter Campaing!


Hello Everybody!
Squine Mode again, I have some new surprises and projects this year, but I’m not here for that, but that to tell them that next week will post the pre-release, so is the penultimate version of the game, after that, we are planning to launch a Kickstarter campaign for the final and complete version.

I hope to have your support for this final version, if we have success on Kickstarter would be published in late February. And it will be free to those who contribute more than a certain amount.

Last month I added a small label to the save animation, and also changed the in-game cursor so it can be more visible now!

I also learned how to zoom videos in my clip editor.

In the first act of the game, you can explore shops and houses. While I’ve done the basic layouts, decorating these spaces is beyond my artistic skills.

This has been in the backlog since the first devbuild, but I finally fixed the depth issues with the ceiling decorations in the cavern scenes.

UPDATE IN COMING? Probably a new update called “DELUXE UPDATE” would come on September! In this update I add new challenges, new time attacks, new rooms, and a ROOM EDITOR! After this update, a new contest would appear with the room editor.

Added a very subtle detail, but now there are multiple parallax layers of particles, so the particles are moving at different speeds in the camera depending on depth!

I added a very small frame-pause when player does critical hits and when an enemy dies.

Also added a hit vfx on player (I just noticed the player never had one)

An error I made in the last builds was to add too much blur to a pixel art game (FOD filter, on-hit, foreground decorations, etc).

Those blurs are now optional in the settings.

After some feedback about "floaty" player movement, I've iterated by adding some dynamic fall recoil and making jumps stop more responsively.

Very inspired by Momodora RotM and Hollow Knight

Last month I reworked and reordered all the settings and accessibility sections in the pause menu.
