NEW VERSION (v1.0.0.3) || Better than you expected


Hello everyone!
Squine Mode here again!

Well, you know why I do this new article, so, thanks you so much for support the game and still playing, here it’s a change log of this new version!

REGEN (v1.0.0.3)

  • Added a TROPHY system (thanks toGameku).

  • Added a Highscore table.

  • Added the “255 Rooms” Mode.

  • Added the “Versus” Mode.

  • Added 5 new rooms.

  • Added a platform system.

  • Added a new BGM.

  • Modify the Player Colition mask (Fixed auto-dead bug).

  • Added “Lazer” enemy (kills with 1 hit).

  • Added a “Menu Selection Screen”.

    So much thanks again to Gameku for the help on the Trophies system.

PD: Trophies & Highscores works only if you’re connected to Gamejolt.

UPDATE IN COMING? Probably a new update called “DELUXE UPDATE” would come on September! In this update I add new challenges, new time attacks, new rooms, and a ROOM EDITOR! After this update, a new contest would appear with the room editor.

I added a very small frame-pause when player does critical hits and when an enemy dies.

Also added a hit vfx on player (I just noticed the player never had one)

Added a very subtle detail, but now there are multiple parallax layers of particles, so the particles are moving at different speeds in the camera depending on depth!

VERSION 1.0.0.2 || What you expected, but better!

FINAL RELEASE || REGEN v1.1

After some feedback about "floaty" player movement, I've iterated by adding some dynamic fall recoil and making jumps stop more responsively.

Very inspired by Momodora RotM and Hollow Knight

This has been in the backlog since the first devbuild, but I finally fixed the depth issues with the ceiling decorations in the cavern scenes.

Last month I added a small label to the save animation, and also changed the in-game cursor so it can be more visible now!

I also learned how to zoom videos in my clip editor.

I'm reworking the whole initial sequence reducing the text to minimum and making it more visual.

For now, have a few seconds of the new initial cutscene.
