The player's character comes from a wealthy family, while the rest of the group is made up of kids from poor backgrounds. One of them uses methods that the main character disagrees with, leading to a fight between them. This clash becomes the first boss fight of the game. The argument is heated, as the hero believes they have no right to dictate what others can or cannot do when they have never experienced true struggle for survival. The group ends up splitting due to their differing beliefs, some siding with the soon-to-be villain and others standing with the future hero. The villains recruit those who share the views of the child who caused harm during the fight. As the story progresses, it is revealed that there is a mirror realm controlled by the villains, which is an exact replica of the real world but with opposite characteristics (e.g. land becomes water). The two worlds start to merge, causing chaos and confusion. During the second boss fight, the hero will use magic spells in addition to their swords and bows. To encourage players to use these spells, they will only have access to their weapons and must dodge and attack until two minutes have passed - at which point, a new spell will activate. This "Fight or Flight" ability allows them to be revived with doubled damage and health, but lowered defense and speed. They are also given a whip spell to pull bosses towards them. However, this ability can only be used on type 2 boss fights while the whip spell can be used anywhere in the game world.
“You do not have the fucking right to tell me what I can or cannot do. You never had to slave away just to make sure you could eat, having to fight for the right to live. You had everything handed to you on a platter while we suffered. You know nothing of the pain we had to suffer.”
