Tess version 1.0.1.0 is released!

A rare (but major) bug was fixed in this version. JInput seems to fail if it tries to get access to some hardware but can’t, which results in a null pointer exception when trying to get access to the controller. I’ve fixed this by having the game just bypass the exception, which means that the game will just fail to get controller input and default to keyboard input IF this rare problem occurs. Controller input should still work for most people (please leave a comment if it doesn’t). Also, a minor change was made to the final boss battle.

No new content was added this release, just the bugfix as mentioned above. The game’s download has been updated.

ver 1.0.1.0 (January 26th, 2015)
+Fixed a rare but gamebreaking bug where the game wouldn’t run at all if the controller setup failed due to Jinput not being able to access special hardware
+Boss can no longer accidentally “fall towards you” during the fight
