This version is a beta and therefore may contain some bugs, version 1.0.7.3 is recommended for a more stable experience.

Sorry for the lack of updates, I’ve not had as much time as I’d have liked to work on Icarus. Over the past few days I’ve been working on a small update. There should be more to come in the next few weeks.

Contains various bugfixes, gameplay tweaks and ui improvements:

Gameplay: Solar reflectors now fail when exposed to extreme temperatures.
Gameplay: Increased cost and decreased construction time of large colony ships.
Gameplay: Decreased construction time for small colony ships.
Gameplay: Moons are now more varied - moons in the inner solar system are more likely to be rich in metals whereas moons in the outer solar system contain greater amounts of deuterium.
Gameplay: Earth now starts with a number of mines prebuilt on it’s moons.
Gameplay: Icarus now starts with solar reflectors.
UI: Added box showing information about moons and planets.
UI: Added fade effects for most ui selections.
Bugfix: Fixed a bug where music would not loop correctly.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
