Thank You! - UnderEvent

Thank you everyone for joining in the UnderEvent livestream! It was such a blast seeing thousands of our community come together and having a blast watching as each fangame got showcased. Sure, the event did get rocky towards the end with all of the participants having to rush out their trailers, people being disrespectful towards certain fangames, and the overall direction of the event, but hey this is a learning experience for everyone! For our first time doing something like this, I think it turned out well. There were a lot of hype for each and every one of the games shown, and I'm happy to see that. I'm also happy to see the overwhelming positivity True Geno's showcase gotten! I honestly thought my reveal was going to be the outlier of them all. I'm not very confident in myself :').

I hope this becomes a turning point for the community and raises the bar for quality fangames. The bar for quality is considerably low if all it takes for a fangame to get noticed is a fight with Sans doing the backpack floss dance. The whole point of UnderEvent was to shed light on more smaller passion projects. We hope these showcases helped many people realize the potential we have if we just put a bit more effort into our projects!
