The actual future of the game. (first post in 2 years)

It has become clear that after nearly 4 years in development, and 3 years of being a public release, that this is going nowhere slowly. This is shown by the fact that I have not made a post in literally 2 years. I am going to take a moment to tell whoever is still watching, the last steps the game is taking before being left alone for the rest of its existence.

Before that though, let me say one thing: the source code is gone. Completely gone. This last update will use the faulty “expansion” feature I programmed a while back. So, what is coming in the update? Will it come at all? What is the future for the game? Well:

-There will be one more update to the game, to fix it up, and make it somewhat complete. Sadly, this lays in the hands of my expansion maker that I threw together in 2017. This means that Bug fixes are simply not possible for the most part.

-The update is not guaranteed to come. This is because of my expansion thing that I mentioned earlier. I hope that I can trust my skills from 2016, because without them there is no more Aldor. (which is not exactly a tragedy).

-The future of the game relies in this update. I will try to keep updates coming. But after this update the game will never see another touch from me. Maybe by some obscure chance the game gets a solid fanbase out of nowhere, the game will live on with consistent updates.

Maybe I should let it die, but I will not kill it and not bury it. I hope I can get the update done. Thank you for your time.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
