The Big Update - 1.0.0

The BIG update is out! Woohoo!

This update overhauls the UIs so that you don’t have to look at a bunch of ugly stats anymore. Instead, you get a concise, easy to understand graphic to explain all the different stats.

Furthermore, the battle UI is also simplified to show you what stat boosts you get and whether or not elemental aura is active, plus a little information on what the elemental aura does.

Additionally, I’ve done an overhaul of how the overworld graphics are drawn, with a lighting system and the ability to zoom in and out. You can zoom in and out yourself with the N and M buttons.

Finally, this update completely fixes all the bugs with the audio navigation that were plaguing the last release. Now, audio navigation is clean, does not have sound corruption bugs and there are even a few extra features to make things easier. You can now form audio paths as well in blind mode. To do so, press Z while in the location menu.

Over the next few weeks I’ll probably also be making some minor adjustments to the battle system, as well as fixing any critical errors.

I hope you enjoy, this has been a lot of work and I really hope that you have a good time.

Richard

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
