# The Endless Journey
I'm currently working on a 2D indie game in Unity.
The protagonist “KID” travels endlessly between different game worlds using a mysterious train.
Each world has completely different rules, atmosphere, mechanics and visual styles.
I realized that I Wanna fangames could achieve this feeling perfectly., such as:
* i wanna run the marathon https://www.iwannawiki.com/games/5983
* i wanna find a cure https://www.iwannawiki.com/games/2641
* i wanna warp the worlds https://www.iwannawiki.com/games/7308
* i wanna stop the simulation https://www.iwannawiki.com/games/6544
They are pretty good, and KID enters different game worlds through them.
And there are no boundaries among games. For example, KID in "i wanna find a cure" turns into the appearance of Madeline from Celeste(The Picture Two), and KID in "i wanna stop the simulation" turns into the appearance of Isaac from The Binding of Isaac.
Because of that, I think I Wanna fangames are a perfect fit for this idea.
And what I use is https://github.com/cubeww/I-Wanna-Be-The-Unity-Engine-Cube-Edition
I expect this game to be a hodgepodge of different game worlds.
So far, I have only built one stage with four levels.(The Picture One)
Stage 0 is considered a tribute to i wanna fangames themselves.
You can clearly recognize the references in these levels.
Though I had this idea, my current skills are still not enough to fully realize it.
I hope someone can help me with game level design and building.
Moreover, I plan to add LAN multiplayer and a powerful level editor, enabling players to create their own Celeste-style, I Wanna-style, Geometry Dash-style, and other platforming levels all in one game.
