the first not-so-big devlog 0.1 (SlenderMan survival game)


made a new post process, yes it is stylized, but it will be cool to play on the contrast
-made a damage system

-flashlight

-stamina

-made thirst and hunger.

It works like this -

you can't jump if your stamina is less than 20%. jumping wastes stamina like running. if you walk backwards, you walk slower (and this work on running).

If you run out of hunger or thirst, you can't regenerate stamina with your own internal resources, the same works for stamina if your stamina is less than 40%.

I haven't done stamina regeneration yet because I haven't gotten to it :p

When you lose xp, you get worse, the world loses color, a little blurry.... I'm not going to make a vignette when you're low on xp, because what I've done so far will be quite disorienting, especially if you're running away from danger, you'll have a better chance. but from damage, you'll feel bad.

If you fall from a medium height, you limp for 10 seconds, you walk slower, but then everything is restored.

If you fall from a very high height, for about 20 seconds, you're almost unable to move normally.

If you fall from an even higher height, you die. (I haven't made death yet, so your hp is just 0 :P)

and yes i decided to use ue5, but don't worry, i removed dx12 and put 11 instead. it's much more stable, although it removes lumina and rtx, but screenspace does a good job too.

yay, I got the time to take some screenshots actually made a lot of textures, remake assets, trying to optimize the engine to the same. but fps is not enough :( I have rtx 3050ti. and video will be only with playable build (not soon) #HNRTX
