This game was made to be a pre-cursor to a game I tried to make back in 2015-2017 but put on hiatus. This game was intended to be a small and quick installment because of how long FNiF was taking at the time but turned out to be a lot more complicated of an endeavor.
The Opening Cutscene covers the events that FNiF’s story was going to start with.
The Warehouse Gameplay setting is inspired by FNaF 3’s focus on a singular threat, and the freezing air mechanic works like an inverse of the FNaF 3’s audio mechanic. The roaming gameplay was inspired from Sister Location’s heavy usage on animation-based traversal, which at the time was seen as fresh and new for FNaF.
The Opening Cutscene and the Minigames you get after completing each night explores old and outdated FNaF theories from the 2015-2017 era and uses them to create an alternate story to current FNaF.
Theories such as:
Fredbear doing the Bite of ’87 and that occurring at the same time as FNaF 2, Pink Guy being different from Purple Guy, changes to the Puppet, and Miketrap.
I also included some original concepts and characters to the mix.
There is also a theme of changes to finales and continuations because several years ago I had some big misgivings with how FNaF 6 went down, and that dissatisfaction and frustration contributed to the rewrite of a few characters and story beats.
The events in the DLVRY minigames symbolize personal things and events, and there are some elements from this new alternate FNaF story mixed in.
The two Secret Areas affect the DLVRY minigames, and their general theming is inspired by personal things.
