The hiatus continues...


So, as you guys very likely know, I’ve been hard at work on Quadratic Attack 3D. I kinda wish there were more people showing interest in this game, since it’s actually shaped up well so far. However, I guess there aren’t as many people interested in a game that still doesn’t have a playable demo after all this time. I get that, it make sense. I just want to have something a bit more… substantial before releasing such a demo, I guess, and since so few people have shown interest in this compared to Quadratic Attack 3D, I guess I just haven’t been as motivated to make it more substantial.

I also want to make sure that all the dialogue in it lines up with the story I had planned for the game, since there are a few things in the game right now that might be removed later due to how much they’ll likely spoil. It’s why I haven’t been showing you anything substantial for this game in the devlog: Being a sort of RPG, the game does have some major things to spoil, and while I’d be glad to discuss a few intriguing moments in the demo after I’ve released it, I’d rather wait until you guys have at least gotten a chance to try it before I make videos of said moments.

Anyways, so yes, the hiatus is continuing while I work on Quadratic Attack 3D. Most people seem to be more interested in that one anyways, hahaha. Oh well, I will still keep working on this one once I have more progress on my other projects. I just, ya know, need to get more progress on said projects. XD

Actually, I may go ahead and make a few minor tweaks to the game here and there right now, just to get it all the closer to being ready for the demo release. However, I mainly plan on fixing up a few spoilery moments that might be a bit too early in the game, so don’t expect to see that demo release quite yet.

Graphical improvifying

Currently trying to make the out of bounds areas in the upcoming (and eventual, please have a bit of patience, this may take a while) update look a bit cooler via unusual skyboxes and using a fade to transparency instead of a fade to black for fog.

They say the third time's a charm. Well, here's take 3 on the player sprite... consider it graphical improvifying phase 2.

I can't promise any kind of release date on anything here. Just can say I'm trying to get some more progress done now. Might actually release this update some day... maybe...
